The "Meet, Mingle and Learn" Young Cancer Survivor’s Event is a free social and educational opportunity to bring young women together who are surviving cancer. It is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 from 4:30-7 p.m., at the Area Education Agency, 3712 Cedar Heights Drive, Cedar Falls.

This FREE event is open to all young women living with cancer. The schedule for the evening is:
4:30-5:00 p.m.     Registration and Refreshments

When a woman is diagnosed with cancer, her whole family is affected by the diagnosis. It can be a scary and emotional time for the patient as well as her children and family. It will also give cancer survivors the chance to share their experiences of helping their families cope with their diagnosis and treatment.
