Thank you so much for the $1000.00 from the Beyond Pink Fund which was
awarded to me back in April. The money was used towards unpaid medical
expenses at Allen Hospital. I am a single parent with two children. I was
diagnosed with breast cancer in January by Dr. Duven and had a mastectomy
Februray 2nd. I was very thankful when Kathy at Dr. Duven's office
mentioned that I may be a candidate for this grant and recommended I apply.
It's overwhelming how quickly medical expenses add up and was extremely
grateful to have been awarded the $1000.00.
